Cherrington 800
A beach cleaning machine towed by a tractor, garden tractor, or ATV, requiring no PTO connection and powered hydraulically by its own Honda engine.
Its fixed oscillating screen is vibrated by a hydraulic vibration motor. Without any rotating movement, it sifts the sand through the screen, collecting debris larger than the screen openings in the debris hopper while returning the cleaned sand to the beach. With different screen options, the machine can collect debris ranging from 0.9 cm to 2.5 cm in size. Developed by Cherrington, this fixed screening system avoids the clogging and sagging problems commonly found in conventional conveyor-type screens and requires minimal maintenance. Featuring four wheels—two at the front and two at the rear—with tires designed for easy movement on sand, the machine cleans a minimum width of 90 cm in a single pass, to a depth of up to 7.6 cm. The 180-liter debris hopper can be emptied directly onto the ground or into attached collection bags.
